Lovely mornings metal detecting
First up was a lead token celebrating Queen Victoria jubilee in 1897 – John M Gibson, Outfitter, Boot Merchant, North Street, Scarborough. Quite surprised it was cast in lead ! Second up is sadly, a broken One Groat – Mary I – 1553 – “VERITAS TEMPORIS FILIA” (Truth is the daughter of time)
