Contest Results
The biggest enjoyment on amateur radio comes down to contesting with morse code being tops. It is an opportunity to challenge yourself both physically (remaining awake for extended periods) and mentally (testing your knowledge on radio wave propagation) together with operating skills and tactics. Taking a holiday to a rare location can also help with big scores !
Below are a few of the contests I have operated in over the years. I don’t use a linear amplifier and these are a mix of low power (100 watts) and QRP (5 watts).
