A Roman minum (toasted sadly) George III silver shilling (1817) Elizabeth I half groat (1582-1592) London mint …. can just make out parts of the legend “E.D.G ROSA. SINE. SPINA” which means “Elizabeth by the Grace of God – a rose without a thorn” – the Coin was worth 2d at the time ! Really pleased to see I managed top place in the UK again for the CQWW morse code competition back in last November. This is by far my favourite of all ham radio competitions.
