I do need to get a hold of my hobbies, I have far too many. However, Amateur Radio contesting I do enjoy immensely. Results from last Octobers contest have just been released – happy with this 🙂
It has been an incredible journey so far in this new hobby of metal detecting. I’ve been fortunate to meet some fabulous people, supported a local charity (Yorkshire Air Ambulance) and have been incredibly lucky with some of the finds discovered. Here is a photo of a few treasures unearthed …

A mixed days metal detecting down on the farm
I lovely few hours metal detecting earlier this morning on a permission in North Yorkshire.
Just taken delivery of a Vaonis Vespera II with a full set of filters (CLS, Solar and Dual band) this will be great for local outreach events. First images look very promising indeed !
